Lazy Sunday

Went with Jess to see Green Lantern yesterday. It was OK, I guess. I know next to nothing about DC characters.

The webs are all gone again. So there's that.

Kids in this place are still annoying.

Doing nothing all day today.

Nothing else to report.

Community Problems

The webs are all back. Landlord's pissed. He tried to get the exterminator he hired last time to come back, but apparently the guy is sick with something. One of the neighbor's offered to help, said he could just hose the place down-- no need for a professional exterminator.

Landlord-- His name's Eric, by the way-- is hesitant. He has this thing about doing everything properly, no matter what. Kind of anal about it. Still, I think he's probably just going to go with the "hose it down" plan.

Man, fuck all those game reviewers and fuck Duke Nukem-- Alice: Madness Returns kicks so much ass it should be a law that everyone has to play it.

Strange Dream

Last night I dreamed that I was walking through my apartment, and everything was quiet. I opened the door to Jess's room and stepped in. I watched her for a moment as she slept, and then I left her room, closing the door behind me.

I stepped outside, and looked out into the night, and I felt the cold winds chill my bones. But even in the face of this cold, I still stood there, unmoving.

Finally, I turned around and walked back inside. There in the middle of the living room was a woman I had never seen before. She was covered in som sort of wooden armor, with strings all around her. Her face seemed painted on, and she stared straight at me.

I walked past her, ignoring her stare, and I climbed back into bed.

And then I woke up.

Water Balloons

Got to leave work early today. Hurray!

Some of the neighborhood kids were having a water balloon fight as I was walking home. Cute. And then one of the little brats threw a balloon at me. Granted, he missed, but still. Could have soaked me.

Oh yeah, and that big spider web in those trees? It's been taken down. Kind of a shame, really. It looked pretty neat.

Fine

Couldn't find anything on what happened to my arm yesterday. And I haven't had any trouble since. I guess it was just a... brief... episode... thingy?

In other news, Jess came home drunk late last night and crawled into bed with me. It's a small bed, so this was very uncomfortable. I had to get up and sleep on the couch. She was pretty embarrassed when she woke up. Good thing she doesn't have a steady job, or her boss would probably fire her for coming to work hungover.
